A very strong, high-pressure rubber hose for conveying superheated and saturated steam. It is manufactured following EN ISO 6134/2A (OHM) norms and is reinforced with textile and steel reinforcements. The inner wall is made of CIIR material (chlorobutyl rubber) through extrusion, exhibiting very low permeability (lower than steam hoses with EPDM inside) and resistance to rubber aging/degradation. The outer wall remains resistant to UV rays, ozone, fats, acids, and is abrasion-resistant. This hose can temporarily transport superheated steam at a temperature of +232°C. The external construction of the hose is microperforated, preventing the "popcorning" effect.
It is essential to dry the hose after use to prevent the accumulation of condensate inside. Also, the hose should not be used simultaneously for water and steam.
